Pair of stylish vases, of oval form with short spreading foot, painted with flower sprigs, the lower border with brown vine on yellow ground, the upper scrolling cornflower, within brown line borders. Impressed mark TH.&O. French, or possibly Bohemian, Circa 1800

Condition: small restorations to rim of one, foot of other
References: The mark doesn't appear in any literature; their appearance could be French, although a case can be made for a Central European origin, such as Bohemia- see Kybalova, -European Creamware- p152 for a vase in the same feel, with very similar flower painting, from Tynec, Bohemia.
