French .950 silver claret jug, the elegant silver-footed form with silver lidded spout and handle engraved & embossed in an elaborate rococo manner, the quality crystal body with spiral cut fluting to the narrow neck, with scrollwork cutting to the body.
Hallmarks ‘EE’ either side of a gaiter, within a diamond;
also Minerva Head with ‘1’ (meaning 950 parts silver in every 1,000) .
