Longton Hall sauceboat, of cos lettuce form, with curled stalk handle and fruit & flower applied to the handle base, the interior painted with a Chinese pavilion on a hill, surrounded by trees and flowering plants picked out in iron red, with a yellow wash to the ground, the outside with blurry underglaze blue to the leaf edges and yellow enamel to the centres, with iron red details added to leaf veins, flowers, and fruits.
