Ming Dynasty dish, garden pattern, 16th – early 17th century
Ming Dynasty porcelain dish, decorated in underglaze blue with a pattern of a rock amongst flowering plants, set against a dot ground pattern, the reverse with scrolling flowerhead borders.

Good condition with minor glaze wear
Similar dishes were recovered from the wreck known as the Bihn Thuan Wreck, and this dish is similar Swatow ware from the kilns of Zhangzhou.
