Swansea plate, the lobed oval form with well painted central specimen, probably by Pardoe after a Curtis botanical print, titled to the back in red script ‘Silveris Rooted Limedorum’.

short rim crack (7 o'clock) with old overpainting, another 3 o'clock, otherwise excellent

The original Curtis print this was painted from is titled 'Tuberous Rooted Limedorum' , but the artist at Swansea has mixed-up the title on this example!
