Vauxhall
Vauxhall Porcelain 1753-64
This scarce London factory was only identifed in the 1990’s due to construction on the site allowing an archaeological study. A newspaper advert in 1753 declares them open for business, a certain Nicholas Chrisp the proprietor. The business failed, and Crisp left for the Bovey Tracery pottery in Devon in 1764.
