Interesting small American Silver spoon, made for the 1901 Pan American Exposition, the bowl moulded with two stylised figures linking hands to form North & South America, inscribed ‘PAN AMERICAN / EXPOSITION / 1901’, the handle moulded with a Native American Indian and a Bison within ornate rococo scrollwork.

These Exposition spoons were made by the Joseph Seymour Mfg. Co. of Syracuse NY and loosely taken from the designed patented by Edward A. Muth of Buffalo NY 1 May 1900
