Elegant Art Nouveau double handled vase with finely painted lilacs and foliage on a soft pastel green ground with gilt borders.

This piece is very pleasantly decorated, and was sourced from a local Geelong estate. This suggests ‘L Hupton’ was of one of the many talented amateur lady china painters, who enrolled with the local Gordon College and were taught by Florence Royce.
