This was an illustration in E.C. Booth’s ‘Australia’, published London 1874.
The view is on the Upper Goulburn River, Victoria, and is taken from a John Skinner Prout (1805-1876) painting of 1844. The original was sold at Christie’s, Melbourne, 22nd March 2005 as part of The Bleasel Collection of Australian Paintings, lot 15.
