Provenance: This interesting piece was made by the husband of Mrs Isabella Clemetina Ainslie, the famous Australian Art Potter from the Harvey School. Her daughter, Mona recalled in 2013 that her father had made the piece; the design links to the pottery creations of Isabella, and it is therefore probable that she supplied the design template to her husband.
