Elegant Barr Worcester plate with underglaze ring to the centre with entwined gilt foliage surrounding a finely gilt flower sprig. The gently lobed border with a thick rim of cobalt blue adorned with spiralling gilt band and outer rims.

Circa 1795

Impressed ‘B’, for Barr, used 1792-1806.

Excellent condition , very minor signs of age

Diameter: 23cm

Usual combination of incised ‘B’ and blue crescent mark suggests that it is from the early Flight Barr partnership
