| References | Leonard Posch (1750 - 1831) was a celebrated sculptor of the 18th/early 19th century, and did several very famous medallions of Mozart which also show the double chin seen on this medallion. This is a characteristic of all the Posch medals. Curiously, they have made a mistake with her birth date, making it 1776 instead of the correct 1779. |
