Fredrick James Ross of Winchester was a quality craftsman of the flourishing Arts & Crafts movement in the late 19th century. His workshop in Winchester produced numerous fine quality re-visits of Medieval goods, including these ‘Bombard’ jugs, which were completed with the silver rims made in their own silver workshop.
