Bow coffee can of heavily potted straight-sided form with thinner tapering lip, painted in very thick, raised enamels with a ‘Rock & Peony’ pattern with no borders, the base unglazed, pale green translucency.

5.7cm high, rim 5.3cm
Excellent condition, one minute stress/firing hairline to the lip, 4mm long.
Fine early example of Bow Porcelain, showing all the characteristics of the earlier production phase – slight green but quite translucent body, clear glaze, thick raised enamels. A handsome piece.
