Rare Egyptian bronze harpoon head, the long shaft with small single barb to point .

some corrosion, stable
Mounted on a metal pin and turned wood base.
10cm, on stand 14cm
Provenance: from a collection formed in Alexandria, Egypt, early 20th century, sold at auction in London (Bonhams) 1990’s.
This is probably from a fishing spear or small harpoon, the form still used today by fisherman
