Classic cast Iron ‘witches cauldron’, of globular form with three small peg feet, moulded to the sides with lines & two angular lug handles supporting iron rod swinging handle, inscribed to the side ‘1 1/2 Gallons’.

English, mid 19th century.

Foundry mark – ‘ETNA GLASGOW’

26cm wide, 19cm high

Condition: Signs of age, chip & short crack near one handle, stable. Some rust inside.
