References

ref. Godden- Chamberlain Worcester Porcelain- p127 for a plate with the same unique flattened lobes. The Baxter features are strong in the border, with the first band of scrolling loops similar to Baxter work on Swansea (John, pl. 51c). The second element with the shaded colour leaves on a rich gold ground reflects Baxter's fabulous flowers on gold ground often seen on Coalport and Chamberlains pieces.
