Elegant Chinese bronze censor in the form of a goose, standing with neck raised, the beak open as the smoke vent.

Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644

16cm wide,
19cm high

Replacement wooden lid,  one foot with loss, hole in body/base, old solder attachment scar to one side (probably had foliage)
