Chinese celadon glaze snuff bottle, of moon flask form with two fine handles at neck and short foot, moulded to either side with scrolls & foliage, a petal collar at the neck.

An interesting comparison can be made with the examples recovered from the ‘Tek Sing’ shipwreck of the 1820’s. ref. ‘The Legacy of the Tek Sing’ p138 for examples.
Provenance: from a collection put together in Indonesia in the 1980’s by an Australian collector.
