Chinese export pith painting, well painted with a domestic scene depicting a lady of rank and a probably her child , she seated a chair wearing elaborately embroidered clothes including rose decorated underskirt, her hair with jade hairpin and matching earrings, the smaller figure standing withe the same hair treatment and underskirt, a tripod table between them with a vase of flowers, set on an elaborate yellow carpet with blue grid pattern, framed in a gilt simulated bamboo frame.
