Chinese export teapot of small globular form, painted in underglaze blue with river scenes within leaf shaped panels, reserved on a carved leaf scroll ground, re- decorated in a London workshop with overlaying panels of oriental flowers, the ground with iron red scrollwork on a gilt ground, the spout and handle panels with an ornate chinoiserie scene of a tall lady in a landscape, the lid with similar treatment.
