Beautiful Chinese ‘Peking Glass’ vase, the thick body with narrow base and long neck, finished with an opaque frosted grind overlayed & hand-cut with branches if flowering prunus in white, giving a ‘fog’ effect.

Condition: good, some minor scuff-marks to glass at edge of rim
This white-on-white design is very unusual in Chinese glass, with the ‘normal’ scheme being high-contrast, for example deep blue, green, or red on white. The ‘fog’ effect is unusually subtle for the type.
