Provincial Chinese porcelain bowl, of elegant flared lip form with narrow base and low foot ring, painted in underglaze blue with a calligraphic-style pair of flower sprays, within double blue line borders, the interior with double lines and central group of three dots.

17.5cm wide, 7.5cm high
Condition: two small bruises/ glaze loss to the rim, otherwise glaze is excellent, a few iron spots.
Ref. British Museum #1940,1214.257 for a similar example, collected Fujian Province 1940, dated to ‘Ming Dynasty’.
