Chinese porcelain bowl, painted in underglaze blue with the ‘three Friends of Winter’ (Bamboo, Pine, Plum) beneath a broad honeycomb border, the interior with central garden of bamboo & prunus flanking a rock, the rim with a lattice border.

diameter: 16.5cm, 7cm high
Condition: glaze excellent with minor signs of age, no chips or restorations, a faint crack down one side.
Blue is varied, with a pale blue there thin, very dark where ‘heaped’ and thick; interior is good colour tone, exterior has decreased clarity to blue with sections of deep black pooling.
