Dudley Wood / 14 Mangarra Rd / Canterbury Victoria 3126 / Phone 832344 Clifford Dudley Wood was born in Geelong, studied at Swinburne in the early 1920's, and went on to the Victorian Artists Society. He became a commercial artist, but always followed his own path in oils & watercolours. By the 1940's he was a successful artist in his own right, being a finalist in the 1941 Archibald Prize twice over. He has been described as a 'Romantic Realist' .
