English bone china plate, superbly decorated with a central flower group within ornate gilt foliate border reserved on an apple green ground, with two panels of armorials including a blackamoor holding a golden cup inscribed ‘DEO PATRIA REGE’ (for God, King & Country) and a finely detailed depiction of the Arms of the Coopers of Markree Castle, Sligo, Ireland. Probably Coalport, c. 1840
