Coalport square dish, of lobed form, painted with a large border frieze including four brown classical urns with gold highlights, the corners with a gilt leaf on green seeded ground flanked by trumpet flowers, with gilt flourishes and red scrolling foliage to the background.

This would have been sold blank from the factory, and decorated in one of the number of independent decorating studios scattered around London in the late 18th & early 19th century.
