Skønvirke - Hornpainting - involves a cow horn with the end cut off and a goose quill tip insert being used as a method for applying slip. Founded in 1919, the firm closed in 1929. The decoration is by one of two artists who earlier worked at the Kahler factory (Denmark) in the same style. They are regarded as examples of the late flowering ‘Danish Art-Nouveau’
