Beautiful biscuit porcelain model , ‘Pastoral Group with dog’, with a gallant seated on a pile of rocks interacting with a standing bareheaded lady, a tree in the background, the reverse with a seated goat.
Inscribed ‘N72’, also modeller’s mark ‘K’
Circa 1790
14cm high, 11cm wide
Some old restoration to rear, inc. goat’s horns.
This is model N72, more usual in a glazed & colourful version. N71 is a mirror-image, where she sits & he stands.
