Derby bisque figure, depicting Autumn from a set known as the ‘French Seasons’, modelled as a girl with a basket of fruit before a tree trunk, set on a circular low plinth with double incised lines.

ref. Bradshaw p267 for the figures. While their design originates on the Continent (At the Tournai factory, modelled by Gauron circa 1760) Bradshaw notes that they bear a closer resemblance to those produced at the short lived Champion’s Bristol factory.
