Small Derby inkwell, the drum-form brightly painted with a pattern of scrolling foliage in Imari colours.
Red crown & baton mark, also ’28’ painter’s mark,
circa 1810
4cm high, 5.5cm wide
Condition : some wear to gold, staining from ink inside, with a crack starting along the top & extending in a ‘W” shape into the body, stable & good for display.
