Stunning small Royal Doulton ginger jar, glazed in red-based blue splash exotic ‘Sung’ type glaze, with marbled effect contrasting vibrant red with crystalline blue to the body, the lid with a ‘partridge feather’ effect of red spots on blue ground.
Marked with the Royal Doulton mark, + ‘Flambe’, impressed number; painted monogram ‘FM’ (for Fred Moore), also ‘SUNG’.
