The ‘Red Line’ group are all Worcester pieces with a factory fault, such as a firing flaw, decorated in underglaze blue only. All colours were added by a decorating studio that bought the items with slight faults from Worcester, and decorated them in much the same style, but conspicuously not using gold, as the factory nearly always did. The rims often have a line of red in the place gold is usually seen.
