References	ref. Dudson- Dudson, a Family Business- pl 10 for an identical example, incised model 3387. The mark appears on p224 in the -other marks- section, indicating this was made for another pottery. This practice is well documented, with Wedgwood commissioning production from Dudson, right down to the correct mark. In this instance, it is the mark of Brownhills Pottery Co, Tunstall, 1872-96.
