Staffordshire creamware figure of a boy playing a pipe, his dog next to him, a pair of lambs below on a grassy bank.
Circa 1820.

14.3cm h.

Good original condition with no restoration, a few small flaws only.  There would have been a bocage, but it was lost before the piece was glazed, as shown by the cohesive glaze covering over the stump.
