Handsome Flight Barr & Barr Worcester plate, boldly decorated in rich gold & enamels with a central Chinese garden with two birds, holey-rock, pagoda, and flowering plants, within a band of flowerheads reserved on iron-red ground, the gadrooned rim thickly gilt. 

Large printed ‘FLIGHT BARR & BARR / Proprietors of the / Royal Porcelain Works’ mark beneath the British Arms, ‘London Warehouse’ beneath,
also impressed ‘FBB’ beneath crown,

circa 1815

 

Excellent condition, gold brilliant, very minor wear to gold, displays magnificently.
