Frank Morris was born in Scotland, arriving in Australia post-WWII in 1948. A gifted young artist, he published his first book, limited-edition & leather-bound, in 1973. Several other books on Australian Birds followed, until a change in direction in the 1980’s led him to paint in ‘figurative expressionism’. His works are represented in numerous books & public collections around Australia.
