Interesting French brass inkwell, modelled as a basic Classical column finial, with square shape fluted body mounted on stepped square plinth, the lid with ornate moulding, opening to a ceramic inkwell insert.

Good condition, insert shows signs of usage with ink stain and small rim chips, displays well.
