Charles Maurice Favre-Bertin (1887-1960) was a Paris born sculptor, well known in the medal collecting world but not well documented in the sculpture field. A pupil of G. Greber and C. Monni, Charles Maurice Favre-Bertin started at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1920. He received a gold medal in 1929 and a medal of honor in 1956, decorative arts section.
