Unusual French glass desk set, in the form of a chest, with central slide out drawer and flat top inset with sander, inkwell, and quill stand each painted with small gold stars, the whole made from thin planks of milk glass, applied with details sculpted from red and green glass canes, including front panels of red loops with flowers to the corners, the top with applied black dentil glass border and a large central flowering plant, within a blue and red cane border.

Condition; good display condition, with some losses to applied work , some small breaks and chips to edges, small crack to 2 corners of top, structurally sound
