Well-painted sepia landscape, with two figures strolling along a path through a valley, a lake to one side with a forrest & distant peaks ahead.
Pencil inscription ‘Mina’ twice to the back,
signed & dated ‘EE 1859’ lover right.
There are two possible ‘Minas’ in Europe; one in Spain near Seville, and the other in Northern Italy near Milan. We suspect this is the Italian Mila due to the costume of the travellers.
