Elegant Greek oinochoe jug, with trefoil lip and high arched handle to the egg-shape body, on a short stem with disk shape foot, the whole with white slip ground, decorated with vertical lines around the neck, a panel of decoration between double line borders with volutes and a probable bird sketch to the center.

Condition: repair evident to the neck, handle (simple re-stick) – chip with small loss to front of lip, one side with some paint loss; added decoration faint.  Displays beautifully.
