Unusual sophisticated Indian box, the domed form covered in horn and embellished with multiple ivory plaques and studs, in imitation of a full-size trunk, some straps engraved with flowers, the center roundel of an elaborate fretwork engraved with an Indian deity holding a snake, the sandlewood interior with four compartments.
