Japanese circular ‘hat box’, the wooden form covered in a thick lacquer, impressed with all-over organic texture with inlaid mother-of-pearl butterflies to the lid flying by a flowing waterfall defined by incised lines, the interior with impressed’ Chrysanthemum’ texture.
