Japanese porcelain bowl painted in underglaze blue, the interior with a view of Mt Fuji within cloud motifs, the exterior with bamboo, prunus & pine, a roundel containing a ship in sail to one side, beneath a lattice border defined with an unusual ridge glazed in brown, similar brown to the rim. Unmarked, Meiji period, 19th century.
