Fine quality English linen press, in impressive Maple wood with fine figuring, the doors with matching grain, with three large slides to the upper section, above five drawers.
Stencil to back;

Good condition with minor signs of age, surface has been refreshed some time ago & is in excellent condition.
The Freeman name is recorded in the latter 18th century as cabinet makers and carvers in Norwich. They appear in London Street in the 19th century, and C.J. Freeman is a mid-to-late 19th century manufacturer, with his pieces always being very fine quality.
