Circa 1855

10cm high, 9.5cm at the rim.

This pattern is not recorded on the Transferware Collectors Club database (yet!) – but fits in with the other patterns of Robert Cochran & Company of Verreville & Britannia Potteries, near Glasgow – with names such as ‘Canton’, ‘Ceylon’, ‘Delhi’ & ‘Florence’. The mark is also a slight variation of those recorded, and the handle pattern is also apparently new.
