Large pale blue jug ‘Jasper’ smearglaze jug with white classical figure sprigs, unmarked.
Probably Dudson, c. 1870
19.5cm high
Base is cracked; easily used for flowers, use a plastic bottle base cut to size! Displays well. Rivits to lip indicate it once had a pewter lid. Nice big size.
Note the lady apparently holding her mobile phone – is she taking a selfie?!
