Large Ridgway earthenware twin-handled comport, on elegant spreading leaf-form pierced foot, printed in blue with the ‘India Temple’ pattern, with pagodas and figures in a river landscape, within a rococo scroll and flower border, the lobed rim with a gadrooned edge.
Printed with large mark ‘India Temple / STONE CHINA/ J.W.R’
within a shield leaning against foliage.
