This was an illustration in E.C. Booth’s ‘Australia’, published London 1874. The original was a Skinner Prout sketch of the 1850’s.

This view is from the present location of Queens Park Bridge over the river Barwon, just below the National Trust property ‘The Heights’. The central flat ground is Queens Park, mostly now golf course. In the distance is Fyansford, with the two structures left white being the two pubs that still stand.
